SUEDE are playing a one-off show at the London Kentish Town Forum on Christmas Eve, and it will be broadcast live on XFM during the last evening of the station's current month of transmissions. Tickets for the show went on sale last week after DJ Janice Long announced on air that the night would feature "a band who've had a Number One album and have covered The Pretenders' Brass In Pocket'." Tickets cost £10 (credit card bookings £11.50). Support acts have yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Suede's new single has been confirmed as the eight-minute "Stay Together". It's scheduled for release by Nude on February 14. The band are going into the studio this week to record more new songs for the bonus tracks on the single.
Finally, the half-hour documentary on Suede broadcast earlier this year on ITV as part of the "Opening Shot" arts series is to be repeated on Channel 4 at 8pm on New Year's Eve.
