The Insatiable Ones - Our Story

The Insatiable Ones was formed in 2012. A shared barrier experience between Suede fans Samantha Hand and Joanna Frost at Lokerse Festival in Belgium on 8th August 2012 would introduce Samantha to its existence. A couple of days later, Samantha would accept an invitation to join The Insatiable Ones Facebook group from Joanna and the rest is history. She finally felt there was somewhere to share her passion about Suede and felt a sense of belonging. Samantha was soon invited to become an Admin of 500 members and proudly, after 8 years of hard work and pure passion, The Insatiable Ones currently has a community of over 6000 members. A community which is their safe place.
Meet The Team
Samantha Hand
My name is Samantha Hand and I run The Insatiable Ones Fan club dedicated to Suede.
I live in Berkshire with my 2 beautiful sons.
I have been a Suede fan for over 25 years and Suede have been the soundtrack to my life through the darkest and happiest of times and every step in between. 2010 was the year that changed everything. That night at the 100 Club in March 2010 MAGIC happened. I'd recently lost my father to cancer and in my darkest hour Suede brought me hope and would plant the seeds for my journey of healing.
That night I vowed I would follow my passion.
My passion being Suede and that passion, especially over the last 10 years, has led to the birth of our wonderful website.
We truly hope you get as much joy out of our website as we have had putting it together.
There is no us if there is no you.

Suede fan since 1992.
Suede have been a huge part of my life since I was a teenager. The music and lyrics have always moved and inspired me.
As a digital services business owner, helping artists and designers in Israel with their online presence, I'm very proud and happy to use my abilities to help the IOs manage the site and monthly newsletter.
Hagar Itzikson
In 1995 I first listened to Dog Man Star at a friend's house and haven't been the same since, in the best possible way.
In November 2013 I moved from Israel to London with my husband and son, to finally live my dream. If I thought that was going to be the best thing that has ever happened to me, that's because I had no idea I was about to meet the IOs and eventually - the band that keeps changing my life.
Stuart Hubbard
Hi, my name is Stuart and I’m a dad to three beautiful children. I very much liked Suede in the early days, but it was 1996 when I fell in love with them, seeing them twice that year, at Kilburn and The Roundhouse – and enjoyed gigs from every tour since then… long may that continue. I’m a graphic designer by profession, and like many of The Insatiable Ones, Suede are a huge part of my life, so being able to put my skills to Suede-related projects is just perfect! Seeing some of my work on the Suede Shop website and having a chat with Brett about it was a dream come true.
