That it depends on your taste. I'm an indie girl so for me it's The Blue Hour. Autofiction is 2nd. I rolled my eyes every time he said it during gigs. Is it for him to decide what I think their best album is? No!
Or let's say DMS or Coming up were the albums that got you through your teens, and you think one of these is their best album, then you're totally entitled to that opinion 😁
I find it hard to take DMS off the top of that list tbh, but not necessarily because it's better, but because it means so much to me personally. So in my ranking, AF is number two, but it is probably their best, yeah

It's definitely up there - I could argue for any of the Mattress Trilogy, depending on my mood :)

I think there's a case to be made, certainly. In many ways it might very well be their most accomplished album.
